The Triangle United Way is a volunteer driven organization. It was formed
when the United Ways of Durham, Orange and Wake counties came together
in 1996. The consolidation reduced overhead costs while allowing for the
expansion of services across the region. Triangle United Way, with the help
of thousands of volunteers, is working to support our community.
Last year, Triangle United Way touched the lives of 300,000 people in need
across Durham, Orange and Wake Counties through the six community care
areas:
Nurturing Our Very Young Children
Investing in Our Youth
Enriching the Lives of Our Seniors
Strengthening Our Families
Meeting Basic Needs and
Providing Access to Health Services.
You can help the Triangle United Way by volunteering your time and
contributing through the United Way Duke Partnership Campaign.
