Thanks to the generosity of the faculty and staff at Duke the 2007 United Way Duke Partnership campaign raised $825,137.19.
Each year, faculty and staff of the university and health system generously support the United Way, which funds 84 agencies and 177 programs
in our community that feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, care for the young, strengthen families and serve seniors close to home.

United Way 2-1-1 service is available from all Duke University and Health System phone lines. Just dial 2-1-1 to be
connected to free, 24-hour, bilingual, confidential information and referral service for non-emergency situations.
Callers can receive information about: basic needs (food, clothing, shelter), legal assistance, consumer help, senior
services, counseling, domestic violence, youth programs and more.
