New Staff Orientation
Payroll clerks or managers can register employees online for the orientation welcome event. All employees are required to attend orientation. Employees must enroll in health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, and reimbursement accounts within 60 days of gaining eligibility.
Duke Human Resources/ Learning and Organization Development (L&OD) offers courses and workshops covering general work skills, manager and leader development, and computer software and systems. Classes are conveniently held on Duke campus at low-cost rates; a few classes are offered at no cost.
Course offerings for January through June 2013 are open for registration in the Duke Learning Management System. You can find L&OD workshops under the following categories:
