Staff and Family Programs provides information and assistance in balancing work and family responsibilities, parenting and other family concerns. Referral assistance is available for both child care and elder care.

Our Mission:

Staff & Family Programs is committed to supporting a positive work environment across the entire Duke community. We believe that a healthy and successful organization relies upon the mental and physical well-being of our employees and their families. We provide resources and programs to support managers and employees in achieving a healthy and highly functional workplace through:

• Coordinating services and programs to facilitate work-life balance
• Tracking and bench-marking key indicators of work life quality, staff and customer satisfaction
• Developing programs, policies and guidelines to help people achieve work-life quality goals
• Providing meaningful opportunities to recognize and reward staff achievements
• Celebrating with our entire community of people
