your foot strike pattern can help you prevent injury. Representatives from 9th Street Active Feet can help you learn how your foot strikes the ground and can recommend a shoe with better
support for each individual.

Join Al Buehler to learn about the basics of good form while walking and/or running. Al Buehler will also provide answers to the common question of, "How should I breathe while walking/running?"
Buehler is the former head coach of the Duke men's track and cross country programs, and he also served as head manager of the U.S. track and field team at the Olympic Games in Munich, Los
Angeles and Seoul.

Walking and running injuries are an all too common occurrence. Understanding injuries is the key to prevention and treatment. Ann Marie Husk will discuss common injuries and tips for
prevention including stretching and proper foot wear. She'll go over some treatment suggestions and give recommendations about when to seek medical advice for injuries. She will also
have handouts available on stretching exercises and core strengthening exercises.
