When a staff member transfers between a University and Health System position, his or her "time away from Duke" program will change and the time will be converted to the provisions of the applicable program.

The tables below provide staff and supervisors with the formulas for calculating and understanding the differences between the University and Health System time off programs so a smooth transition will occur.

Transfer from a Health System Position to a University Position

From PTO Bank To Vacation To Sick Leave To Discretionary Holidays

Transfer from a University Position to a Health System Position
