orient employees to your department. Please tailor these tools and templates

Letter - This is a welcome letter template from the supervisor to the
new employee, to be sent to the employee prior to their start date.

- This is a letter template from the supervisor to the assigned buddy,
to be sent to the buddy prior to the employee start-date.

Announcement - This is a letter template from the supervisor to the
department members announcing the hire of the new employee, to be sent
prior to the start-date.

New Employee Safety Orientation
It is required that all
employees complete the specified on-line safety training modules within
their first two weeks of employment in the department. The manager/supervisor
is responsible for insuring the employee has completed this required training.
