Extended Hours for Duke Urgent Care
Effective January 1, Duke Urgent Care Centers will expand their hours of service to 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekdays, weekends, and holidays....365 days a year. These expanded hours at the Hillandale Road and the new facility located on Fayetteville Road will be available to patients 12 hours a day, every day of the year.
Using an urgent care facility can help faculty and staff manage health care cost. Urgent care only requires a $35 co-pay while the co-pay for visiting the emergency room is $150. Urgent care facilities provide diagnosis, treatment and management of urgent medical conditions and minor trauma when a patient's primary care physician is unavailable.
