2005 Health and Dental Premium Deductions Begin in December
Payroll deductions for 2005 health and dental care premiums will begin in December 2004 for faculty and staff who elected to participate in the health and dental plans for the coming year.
The premium changes for 2005 are dependent on the coverage and plans you selected for the coming year and will be automatically deducted from your paycheck on a pre-tax basis. For employees paid biweekly, the 2005 premium changes will take effect in the December 13 paycheck for dental care and the December 23 paycheck for health care. For employees paid monthly, premium changes will take effect beginning with the December 23 paycheck.
The health and dental care options selected during open enrollment will be in effect January 1, 2005 - December 31, 2005. If you made no changes to your current health or dental selections, your current selections will automatically continue for 2005.
