Savings Are In the Mail
You can save money on your recurring, long-term prescriptions by ordering
them through the mail.
It's as simple as 1, 2, 3. Here's how it works:
- Ask your doctor to prescribe medication in a three-month supply, plus refills. If you're getting a new prescription, ask your doctor to write two prescriptions
-- one for a one-month supply from a retail pharmacy for immediate use, and one that you'll mail in for a three-month supply.
- Please ensure that your prescription is written for a 90-day supply
because a prescription for less than 90 days is still charged the 90-day
copayment.
- Consult Medco Health to determine whether your medication is covered and what your co-pay will be. You can log on to
Medco
Health's web site or call (800) 717-6575.
- Complete and mail the home delivery order form with your prescription and check or credit card information in the postage-paid envelope you'll receive with your pharmacy ID card (be sure to make a copy of the prescription before you mail it). Order forms are also available online at
www.medcohealth.com.
You'll receive your order and a receipt within 10 days. When you need a refill, just call the toll-free number or visit the web site two weeks before you need it. You can order refills by web or touch-tone phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
