Calling former tobacco users — INSPIRE OTHERS TO QUIT
Remember how hard it was to quit smoking or using tobacco? Share your story with others and inspire them to quit.
LIVE FOR LIFE is recruiting former tobacco users and other Duke employees to share their experiences with others and to celebrate being tobacco-free during Tobacco Independence Week (July 2, 3, 5 and 6).
Volunteers will be provided with information on cessation programs and resources to share with employees, visitors and patients before their scheduled volunteer time.
Volunteers are needed at the Duke Farmers Market (in the Medical Center Bookstore parking lot) on July 6 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers are also needed at Duke North Main Lobby, Duke South Main Lobby, Durham Regional Main Lobby and Duke Raleigh Main Lobby.
Volunteers may sign up by calling 681-0504 or e-mailing
Jason.Horay@duke.edu.
