Duke's Substance Abuse Policy
As part of compliance with federal regulations, Duke is required to notify
all employees annually of its substance abuse policy and available resources.
Please review the information posted on the HR Policy
Manual.
Substance abuse services are available to Duke faculty and staff through the Personal Assistance Service (PAS). Licensed professionals at PAS can offer assessment, short-term counseling, and referrals. PAS services are available free of charge to Duke faculty and staff, and their immediate family members. For more information, visit
the Personal Assistance Service web site.
If you need access to the web, you can visit the Human Resource office at 705 Broad Street, visit the Professional Development Institute's Resource Center located in Duke Clinic (Yellow Zone, Room 3616) or visit Perkins Library on West Campus or any public library.
