Since checks are no longer accepted by the N.C. State Fair, payment for discount tickets must be in
cash. No refunds or exchanges will be made. Advance Ticket Sales
Advance ticket sales for Duke faculty and staff (with a valid Duke ID) will be between 6:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the following locations while supplies last:
- Thursday, Sept. 13, at the Medical Center Human Resources office, Room 1531A Duke South, Blue Zone, between 6:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Friday, Sept. 14, outside the Staff & Family Programs office in Trent Hall (across from Hanes House), between 6:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

*Duke was notified by representatives of the State Fair that the State Fair has changed the amount of tickets received per sheet of ride coupons. Each sheet will now contain
18 coupons instead of the previous 24 coupons. The advance ticket price remains at $10 per sheet.
