Duke Prospective Health Introduces Redesigned Web Site
Duke Prospective Health has redesigned its web site to offer easier access for participants to important online
information, tools, and resources.
The redesigned web site provides new features including member spotlights, health tips from DukeHealth.org, and
online access to the Health Risk Assessment (HRA). While at the site, participants can also view current program
incentives, search for information on Duke Prospective Health events, and find additional program resources.
Duke Prospective Health, offered to faculty, staff and their family members enrolled in Duke Select and Duke Basic
health care plans, is an approach for delivering health care that emphasizes wellness, prevention of disease, and early
intervention. Duke Prospective Health works with participants and their personal physicians to identify health risks
they may face and help to prevent diseases and chronic conditions before they happen.
Duke Basic and Duke Select members can send an email to Duke Prospective Health through the "Contact Us" section of
the web site to be entered into a random drawing for a $100 Harris Teeter gift card. The contest runs March 1 - March 31,
2006. Entrants must be 18 years or older.
If you are a member of Duke Basic and Duke Select and haven't signed up to participate in Duke Prospective Health,
getting started is easy. All participants have to do is complete a simple health questionnaire and select a primary care
physician, if they have not done so already. All of the personal and health information used in the program remains
confidential among the individual, the physician and the Duke Prospective Health clinical care team.
