habits, LIVE FOR LIFE is offering a new program
Duke On the Move - The Million Minute Challenge, that will begin January 9,
2006. With the "Million Minute Challenge," Duke is challenging employees to work
together to accumulate one million minutes of exercise in 12 weeks.

Premiums for Duke's Supplemental Life Insurance Plan are being reduced, and
faculty and staff will have an opportunity to enroll or purchase additional
coverage during a special enrollment period

Parents working at Duke now have even more opportunities for child care with the
expansion of the Duke Child Care Partnership (DCCP)
to include 20 area child care facilities. The DCCP facilities currently have 19
vacancies for infants, 20 vacancies for 1- and 2-year-olds, and more than 60
vacancies for children up to 4-years-old.

The Duke Farmers Market will return just
in time to help employees get their five servings of fruits and vegetables a
day. Beginning Friday, May 6, the market will offer fresh fruits and vegetables,
potted flowers and plants, sweet honey, baked breads, healthy lunches, nutrition
