 Brock's Produce
Brock's Produce offers strawberries, squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, potatoes, okra, onions, melons, peaches, plums, grapes, and peppers.
In business for: 16 years, Mike Brock has farmed all his life.
With Duke Farmers Market for: 9 years — a Founding Farmer
Unique because: We take pride in our product and strive to bring customers the best produce we can provide. Brock's is a true family farm, with three generations working together.
What we enjoy about the Duke Farmers Market: The customers really enjoy our produce and we enjoy them. Mike's wife and three children help out during summer months.

This farm sells local honey from our beehives, , apples, pecans, herbal jellies, seasonal fruit preserves, herbal culinary blends, handcrafted honey and herbal soaps, beeswax candles, artisan breads (sourdough, French bread, herbal breads) and gift items.

Unique because: With our "Let's grow our food together" service we set up a "square-foot" mini garden in your own backyard.

Fernrock Farm sells cut flowers, mums, potted and bedding plants to include annuals, vegetables, herbs, and perennials. New this season: pots of cucumber, tomatoes, peppers, and herbs for cooking to grow in tight spaces.
Fernrock Farm also participates in the Mobile Farmers Market.

Unique because: Fernrock Farm in Orange County uses sustainable agricultural practices and waters crops from the farm pond.

 Harrington Farms
Harrington Farms is family owned and operated by Mr. Harrington and his three sons. This year we are growing strawberries, asparagus, sweet onions, greenhouse tomatoes, cucumbers, garden peas, peppers, corn and sweet potatoes.

Unique because: We grow everything we bring to the Duke Market. We like the people who visit on Fridays.
What we enjoy about the Duke Farmers Market: It's a good way to take our produce out to people where they work.

 Hurtgen Meadows Farm 
Hurtgen Meadows is a family-owned farm with a full range of garden vegetable crops and popular cut flowers. We grow vegetables and flowers in a sustainable manner while transitioning to
organic production. We also offer hand-crafted maple cutting boards and other wood crafts.

Unique because: Tom Hurtgen was raised on a Wisconsin dairy farm and has returned to his farming roots after years of work at Duke Medical Center. His wife Nancy works at Duke and their two sons graduated from Duke.

 Lyon Farms
Lyon Farms has been in business for more than 100 years, providing a wide assortment of quality fruits and vegetables as well as seasonal items
(strawberry lemonade, cider, roasted corn on the cob). Lyon Farms also participates in the
Mobile Farmers Market.

 Max Lee Farms
Max Lee Farms produces blueberries, blackberries, peaches, cut flowers and vegetables. Max Lee also sells fruit
grown by other local farmers. We are saddened by Max Lee's death on December 26 and celebrate his life and his commitment to our market.

Unique because: The variety of cut flowers and fruit we offer and the fact that we're a father-son
business. Max also worked with Duke for more than 20 years as a safety consultant before becoming a full-time farmer.
The family of Max Lee continues his tradition of setting up a stand on the walkway by the market.

 Muddy Dog Roasting Company
Muddy Dog Roasting Company is a small-batch, artisan coffee roaster located in Morrisville. "We work hard to source the best green coffee available,
direct from growers and certified whenever possible. We have an intense focus on quality, freshness and customer service."
New this season: teas - green tea, fired green tea, rooibos, oolong, white, black and herbals. We're also selling grits, polenta and cornmeal that are ground from North Carolina corn by a friend of ours down in Rocky Mount.
Unique because: Owners Jim Pellegrini, a Duke alum, Fuqua Class of 2001, and wife Debbie bring to the market a wide selection and samples to taste. Call the day before
to place orders and your selection will be ready at their booth.

Robert Jones of R & V Farm sells greens, squash, onions, beets, rutabagas, watermelons and other vegetables that are grown on his family farm in Snow Hill.

His family farm has recently been traced back 100 years.

All of Sunshine Lavender Farm's products are created with lavender grown using organic practices. Annie sells lavender plants in small pots and dried arrangements as well as
gift items. New this year, she'll offer a selection of kitchen culinary herbs. The farm includes a small vegetable garden, chickens, horses and extensive flower gardens. This local
farm is within 25 minutes of Duke.
