The Duke Farmers Market is one of the many programs that supports Duke's sustainability efforts.
The market is now open every other Friday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. until September 26.
Visit the LIVE FOR LIFE Farmers Market and get the freshest, best tasting fruits and vegetables available! The
Farmers Market offers a wide variety of produce and recipes to help you get the
number of servings of fruits and vegetables you need to be healthy.
Each week produce is collected from participating farmers for free drawings. Each
market also offers healthy lunch vendors.
Cooking Demonstrations
Friday, September 12 and September 26 11:30 a.m., 12:15 p.m., and 1 p.m.
Chef Emanuel May IV and Chef Michael Moroni who are part of the Duke Dining team will hold cooking demonstrations at the Duke Farmers Market. Produce will
be provided by farmers at the market, and samples will be available. While cooking, both chefs will offer tips for creating your own recipes.

Harvest Festival September 26
Celebrate the year's final Farmers Market with a Harvest Festival. Pick up some fresh produce and a healthy lunch. Vendors will also sell painted gourds,
photo cards, totes made of recycled plastic bags, specialty soaps, and hand-rolled beeswax candles. Also learn about upcoming LIVE FOR LIFE programs
and enjoy:
