Mary Ann Dobbins is a wellness professional with a passion for fitness. New to the Live for Life Team, Mary Ann spent three and a half years working with clients at the Duke Diet and Fitness Center. She has been teaching fitness and training clients for over 7 years. Mary Ann has her Bachelors degree in Communication and her Masters in Exercise Science and she loves the challenge of helping people find their motivation to be fit.

"I think the most important reason to stay in shape is so that you can truly appreciate the world around you instead of witnessing it on a television or driving by it in a car," says Mary Ann. She says that hiking across the ridge of the Napali coast in Hawaii, riding a bicycle across the state of North Carolina, touring Rome on foot, and paddling a kayak in the peaceful waters of Wisconsin are some of her favorite memories. She knows she wouldn't have been able to see the world up close if she wasn't fit enough to survive the terrain.
