Special Events

Plant Sales: Help organize our annual plant sales. Duties include maintaining the plant sale database, pre-sale preparation (including pricing, labeling, and displaying plants), and helping the staff on sale day. These plant sales help provide valuable revenue for Duke Gardens.

Host/Hostess: Various University-sponsored receptions and alumni events are scheduled in Duke Gardens throughout the year. Help organize food and refreshments and serve as host/hostess for the event. You will serve as a Duke Gardens advocate to returning alumni, parents and university dignitaries.
