The
North Carolina Botanical Garden, which consists of nearly
600 acres, aspires to be a great garden as part of a great University.
It is made up of three tracts in Chapel Hill: the Coker Arboretum,
the Mason Farm Biological Reserve and the North Carolina Botanical
Garden proper.
The mission of The
J. C. Raulston Arboretum at N.C. State University is to enrich and expand
urban and residential landscapes by promoting a greater diversity
of superior and better adapted plants for creative,
environmentally sound landscapes.
Successful Gardener is published 10 times a year by N.C. State University and N.C. A&T State University Cooperative Extension. It features articles about plants that grow well in this state, Q&As and tips for each month.
Triangle Gardener, launched in 2009, is a free bi-monthly magazine focused on topics of interest to local gardeners.
