Named for a naturalist, nature photographer,
and Olympic skier, the Harriet Jackson Phelps Horticultural Library
houses more than 2,500 titles.
Subjects covered include:
- gardening in the Southeast
- native Southeastern plants
- landscape design
- gardening memoirs
- how-to garden guides
- history of gardening
- books on individual plant species
The Triangle Orchid Society library is also housed in the HJP
Horticultural Library.
