Every visit that you make to the Gardens, however
often, will always be a new experience. Three hundred rose bushes
in a circular garden and as many azaleas surrounding a courtyard
with benches, provide walls of color to delight new and returning
visitors; seasonal plantings in the Terraces and along main walks
provide constant bloom and interest. Spring bursts with dogwoods,
redbuds, crabapple and cherry trees, hyacinths, daffodils, tulips,
peonies, and wisteria. Petunias, daylilies, begonias, and other
annuals and perennials flower through the summer, and then fall
glows with over 7,000 chrysanthemums. Winter displays unobscured
trees, dramatic barks, bright berries, and evergreens.
