Whether you are a seasoned or novice gardener looking for interactive classes, professional development or personal enrichment, Sarah P. Duke Gardens has something for everyone. Learn about new ways to interpret and experience the wonders of plants and the people-plant connection.

Sarah P. Duke Gardens offers a variety of innovative programs for adults, including lectures, classes, guided walks, workshops, off-site tours, symposia and trips. A schedule of events is published twice a year. You can also read it online. To be placed on the class schedule mailing list, please call the information desk at (919) 668-1707 and leave your name, address and e-mail address if available, or send an e-mail with the subject line "education mailings."

Reciprocity
We have a reciprocal agreement for educational programs with the J.C. Raulston Arboretum at N.C. State University in Raleigh. If you are a Raulston member, you are entitled to our member discounts. Just indicate your membership status and it will be honored. See the Raulston web site for its programs.
