Join us for Family Fun Day: Sept. 12

Free admission. 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Parking: free until 1 p.m.

Enjoy fun activities for people of all ages. The N.C. Herpetological Society will bring reptiles (don't worry; no venomous snakes). The Nasher Museum of Art will have creative activities. Duke's Lemur Center will be here with lots of photos and information. The Piedmont Wildlife Center will bring creatures & information. Locopops will have frozen treats. And the Gardens will have lots of fun activities of its own, from building fairy houses to making noisy sound sandwiches and membranephones, concocting ooze and learning how to turn flowers different colors naturally. Celebrate nature with us!

This event is part of the N.C. Science Festival: Life is Your Lab.

Duke Discount: The Terrace Shop will offer a 20 percent discount Sunday on all children's merchandise for Duke faculty, staff and students with i.d. Come see our fantastic T-shirts, educational toys and other items.
