Staff & Family Programs, a division of Duke University Human Resources, conducts an independent review of all potential and existing PERQS establishments through the Better Business Bureau of America (BBB). In instances where a vendor has access to the personal property of an employee, the vendor must provide proof of license and bonding, along with five (5) professional references in writing. Duke reserves the right to not publish a discount or discontinue offering a discount for any business at any time if warranted by a negative BBB report and the business refuses to address and resolve the situation. If Staff & Family Programs or any entity of Duke University & Health System receive complaints about a business, the discount can be removed from publication.

How Does VIP Pet Sitting Work?
When you call our office, your bonded and insured pet sitter is assigned to you
and your pets. We are available 365 days a year.
Your sitter will then call you to arrange a consultation to visit your home,
and meet your pets before your service begins. The interview
enables the sitter to get acquainted with you and your pets, and allows them the
opportunity to learn all about your pets and their special
needs. You will be given a signed copy of your contract. Your sitter retains a
copy of the contract, and our office has a copy on file as well. Future
reservations can be made with a simple phone call to our office. We invite
you and your pets to try the Kennel Alternative. We offer Personalized Pet
Care in your own home, for extended reservations when you travel. Daily care
is also available for those times your pet is Home Alone, when you work long
hours.
Duke employees receive 10% discount off their first reservation.
