Staff & Family Programs, a division of Duke University Human Resources, conducts an independent review of all potential and existing PERQS establishments through the Better Business Bureau of America (BBB). In instances where a vendor has access to the personal property of an employee, the vendor must provide proof of license and bonding, along with five (5) professional references in writing. Duke reserves the right to not publish a discount or discontinue offering a discount for any business at any time if warranted by a negative BBB report and the business refuses to address and resolve the situation. If Staff & Family Programs or any entity of Duke University & Health System receive complaints about a business, the discount can be removed from publication.

Duke University faculty and staff, Were you aware that the
Duke University Golf Club gives discounted greens fees for
you, your spouse, and any dependents living at home under
the age of eighteen? These discounts are as much as $20.00
off of our daily guest fee. Please identify yourself as a
Duke employee to receive the discount offer.
We have three different rates per day: 1) Daily: beginning
at 7:00am. 2) Mid-Day: beginning at 1:30pm. 3) Late Play:
beginning at 4:30pm. Monday through Thursday fees are lower
than Friday through Sunday. Specific rates are posted on our
website, golf.duke.edu.
If you plan on playing golf frequently, we offer a discounted
Duke Faculty/Staff annual membership. This annual membership
begins April 1st and will cover your greens fees for the entire
year! The warm weather and longer days are quickly approaching.
Whether you are a beginner or an expert, it is time to dust
off your clubs and consider enjoying the many amenities we
have to offer you.
Your Duke University Golf Club opened in 1957 and has been
receiving tremendous accolades from the golfing media ever
since. It was designed by famous golf course architect, Robert
Trent Jones Sr. and it has always been open daily to the public.
The golf course was recently ranked #1 in the triangle, (including
the private clubs), by the North Carolina golf course raters.
Golf Digest has rated it the 15th best golf course in the
state. If you haven't played this, you need to visit us.
If you play regularly, you need to take advantage of the
Duke Faculty/Staff discounts. Among the services we offer
are a fully stocked PGA golf shop that is located on the lobby
level of the four diamond Washington Duke Inn, three food
and beverage outlets, complete locker room facilities, monthly
golf bag storage, a USGA approved handicap card, and a state
of the art practice facility. Whether you are a beginner or
an expert, our six PGA golf professionals are here to help
you play better through private or group lessons that allow
for additional Duke Faculty/Staff discounts.
If you simply want to come out and practice, we have several
discount programs on one of the best practice facilities in
the state. The Duke University golf course is your golf club
and it's one you can be proud to be affiliated with as a daily
golfer or an annual member. We hope we can serve you this
