Duke Children's Campus is pleased to offer The World at Their Fingertips, a program developed by Bright Horizons Family Solutions. The program is based on a rich tradition of early childhood education theory and practice and incorporates five key assumptions:
- Children are active learners
- Teachers are mentors
- Developmentally, culturally and individually appropriate learning environments allow children to discover
- Documentation of learning experiences and child assessment guide goal setting
- Parents are partners in every aspect of curriculum
