Holiday Schedule

Duke Children's Campus

The Duke Children's Campus is a five star rated child care center located on campus for the exclusive use of Duke faculty, staff and employees who are benefit-eligible.  There are also a limited number of slots open to Duke graduate students.

Enrolling Your Child

You may apply to enroll your child in Duke Children's Campus even if no vacancies are immediately available. The DCC Director maintains a waitlist and will contact you when a vacancy meeting your needs becomes open. Please read the Waitlist Policy and Procedures and Part-Time Policy for more information. You may print the Pre-enrollment Registration Waitlist Form and complete the form for submission in hard copy to the DCC Director.

Tuition Assistance

Families earning less than $75,000 per year may be eligible for child care tuition assistance programs available through their county of residence, the state of North Carolina or Duke. Faculty and staff members may read the DCC Tuition Subsidy Application Procedures for more information. Duke graduate students should contact the graduate school for more information about funding that may be available.

Tax Notice: Tuition subsidy may be considered taxable income. Seek professional tax advice. If you use a Duke-contracted facility, such as the Duke Children's Campus, and receive a child care tuition subsidy, the amount that you can contribute to the Dependent Care Reimbursement Account is reduced dollar-for-dollar. Call Duke's Open Enrollment Service Center at 1-877-371-9963 for more information or go to the Reimbursement Accounts web site.
