The spring Duke Run/Walk Club starts March 11
Running is a great way to manage weight, be more active and combat stress. Move toward better health. Join the Duke Run/Walk Club and meet your health and fitness goals - whether you're a beginner walker or training for a 5K. Offered each spring and Spring, the club is a no fee, 12-week program for all Duke faculty and staff at all fitness levels. The club meets at Wallace Wade Stadium on West Campus; the East Campus wall across from Whole Foods on Broad Street; and Durham Regional and Duke Raleigh hospitals. Starting March 11, the club will meet every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at:
- East Campus (Map)
Flat, beginner course (1 loop = 1.7 miles)
Meet across from Whole Foods at the East Campus Wall. Ideal for:- Beginner Walkers
- Beginner Walk to Run
- West Campus (Map)
Hilly, advanced course (1 loop = 2.9 miles)
Meet in front of Wallace Wade Stadium. Ideal for:- Advanced Walkers
- Advanced Run/Walkers
- Advanced Runners
- Durham Regional Hospital — Employee Entrance (Map)
For all who plan to participate at this location, the walk begins at 5 p.m.- Beginner Walkers
- Duke Raleigh Hospital — Wellness Center Entrance (Map)

Parking is available at these locations after 5 p.m. (parking maps).
- East Campus: In the 705 Broad St. parking lot or along Broad Street.
- West Campus: Along Bassett Drive or around Wallace Wade Stadium.

- Duke Raleigh Hospital: Employee Parking Lot
