2012 Pumpkin Fun Run Oct. 13
Employees and their families are invited to participate in the annual Pumpkin Fun Run, a 2.9-mile run or walk around the Washington Duke Inn grounds along the Al Buehler Cross Country Trail. The race is ideal for serious runners, recreational walkers or those who just want to get out and have fun.
This year’s event will be held at 10 a.m. Oct. 13 – registration starts at 9 a.m. and will also be available online closer to race day. Participation is free, but a voluntary donation of $2 per participant helps raise funds for the Duke Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplantation program, which provides care and support to children suffering from cancer, genetic defects or blood disorders.
