Local Foods, Global Flavors
This year the Duke Farmers Market celebrates various countries around the world while featuring a specific recipe of a local fruit or vegetable in season! Come celebrate Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This Season
- Duke Campus Farm sells fresh produce grown nearby on Duke Forest land.
- Olifant+Castelo sells a new line of small batch spice kits, including French, Italian, Indian, and more.
- Try a SALAD-TO-GO on the patio. After shopping at the Market, stop at the patio in front of the Searle Center to purchase a SALAD-TO-GO from the Commons Restaurant.
- Outdoor Patio Seating. Join colleagues for lunch on the patio outside the Searle Center.
- Take the Stairs. Stairwell from outside the Mudd Library is open down to the Searle Center patio.
- New Recipe Collection Book. Pick up your copy of Local Foods, Global Flavors: Duke Farmers Market 2012 Recipe Collection
- Collect Recipe Cards each month to see tips to buy, store, and prepare fresh foods in season.
