How to enroll in your Duke 403(b) retirement plan

Your Duke retirement plan is a 403(b) plan, which enables you to contribute to your retirement on a tax-deferred basis. In order to enroll in the plan, you must know how much you would like to contribute and where you would like your contributions invested (investment carriers and funds).

Complete the following five steps to enroll:

• Read the Enrollment Kit for important information.
• Choose your investment carrier(s) and make your investment fund(s) selections.
• View a complete listing of all the investment funds offered to Duke employees.
• View investment carrier telephone numbers and website addresses.
• Complete the appropriate investment carrier application(s).
• Complete the Employee Contribution/Change Form to indicate the percentage or dollar amount per pay period and the allocation to each of the investment carriers you have selected.

  • Employee Contribution/Change Form for Biweekly Paid Employees
