We want to hear your thoughts about Duke's
benefits and the open enrollment process for 2010 benefits. Please take a couple
minutes to complete this anonymous survey.
Open Enrollment 2010
Open Enrollment for 2010 Benefits has ended.
Open Enrollment for 2010 Benefits has ended. Those Duke employees that made changes during the open enrollment period will be sent a confirmation statement by e-mail
during the week of November 6th. Changes to your coverage outside of the open enrollment period may only be made within 30 days of a qualifying life event (see Life Events for more details).
Do I Need to Make Changes?
If you wish to participate in the Health Care and/or Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts for 2010, you must
enroll. Participation in the reimbursement accounts does not automatically continue from year to year.
If you do not make changes to your medical, dental, or vision coverage, your current medical, dental, and vision
coverage selections for 2009 will automatically continue for 2010.
Additional Benefits
You may enroll in many of Duke's other benefits any time throughout the year.
These benefits include: 403(b) Retirement Plan, Supplemental Life Insurance,
Universal Life Insurance, Long Term Care Insurance, Disability, Personal
Accident Insurance, and Personal Casualty Insurance (Renter's, Automobile, and
Homeowner's Insurance). For more information, please visit the
Benefits web site or call Human Resources at
(919) 684-5600.
This web site serves as a summary of material modification to the benefits described
in the official summary plan descriptions for these plans. The benefits that you receive are based upon the plan's
official plan documents, not this web site or any other written or oral statement. If there is a conflict
between this web site and the official plan documents, the official plan documents will govern in all cases.
Duke reserves the right at any time to change or terminate these plans. |
