Employee Tuition Assistance
The Employee Tuition Assistance Program provides reimbursement of tuition for classes taken at Duke or any other higher educational institution accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools with a physical presence in North Carolina.
Participants can request a waiver to take courses outside of North Carolina* or if the employee's primary work location is outside of North Carolina.
This program provides reimbursement of tuition for a maximum of three classes per semester or quarter (limit nine classes per calendar year) up to $5,250 per calendar year for full-time employees with at least two years of continuous full-time service.

*For courses/programs/degrees that are not available within the state of NC via regular in-class instruction. If the course/program/degree is available locally, the waiver request will not be approved. Waiver approval will be based on the course/program/degree, not the mode of delivery.
How and When to Apply
